Artists Co-op organises a talk each month for artists to share about their artworks and inspirations to public. Our artist speakers in the past include Foo Sai Heng, Phoebe Man, Lai Chun Ling, Rosanna Lee and more.

From April onwards, Artists Co-op's monthly sharing will focus on history, theories and practices of art forms related to sustainable development.

2019/1 - Artist sharing: Genna Naccache

Genna Naccache is a news documentary photographer with a multi-ethical background, she currently resides in London. Her work documents the lives of ethical minorities in developing countries, which raises social awareness on those groups. Her work has been exhibited at human rights organisations and university demonstrations.

Gemma has run three exhibitions, symposiums, talks and workshops in Hong Kong, one of those include Ling’s mountain at Fotan Open Studios. The exhibited works include a photo series taken at a womens’ prison at Rio de Janeiro that may inspire audiences to evaluate their core values in life. There will also be an artist sharing, which Genna will talk about her initiative, process and evaluation on shooting this series.
