Sharing by Li Chi-cheung

Li Chi-cheung started his artistic journey at the early age of 19. At that time, he participated in the Exhibition of Contemporary Hong Kong Art organised by the City Museum and Art Gallery. Since then, he has devoted himself to studying and creating art. He has also received the Fine Arts Award at the Royal Overseas League Art Exhibition in 1973 and the Urban Council Fine Art Award in 1975.

Li takes inspiration from the natural environment, and he also integrates traditional and modern expressions into his art practice. By combining Chinese and Western artistic expression, he conveys his inner feelings through the integration of realistic and abstract expressions.
