Target: Anybody interested in sustainability art and exploring creative working methodology. Background in art and design is preferred but not required.
Capacity: 16 (if over-subscribed, a selection process would be conducted)
Tuition: Free of Charge
Requirement: Participants should commit to attending all the four workshops and complete an individual creative project, which may be selected for exhibition at the Sustainability Art Hub.
Deposit: $500 (The full amount would be returned to the participant who fulfills the above requirement.)

Workshop Introduction
Kata will present his insights and experience on sustainability art, including his views on how to perceive and utilize daily objects with an eco-friendly strategy in art creation. He would also present his sound sculpture project for the Artist Residency Program as a case study to explore eco-carefulness and nature-caring development.
Participants will be encouraged to share and present their creative thinking processes and carry out basic sustainable creation practices.
Instructor
Kata Sangkhae was born in Bangkok in 1976. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts from the School of Fine and Applied Arts, Bangkok University, Thailand, before continuing his studies in the Master’s Degree in the Sculpture Area at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), USA. Kata achieved his PhD from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (RMIT), Australia. He is currently a professor at Bangkok University. In his role as a contemporary artist, he has created works relating to identity, urbanization, tourism, cultural environments, and socio-political issues stemming from changing places and locations.
